Hi-Visibility working…in all
conditions
The exclusive new Pulsarneon® range from Praybourne is now available
through Consumables Solutions. This innovative light system range
builds on Praybournes existing comprehensive of hi-visibility
clothing.
The Pulsarneon® award winning light system is attached to the front
and back of the garment, which when activated produces electro-luminscent
lighting. The light system has an option to flash or stay
continually bright, making Pulsarneon® garments capable of providing
up to 5 times the protection of passive hi-visibility clothing. This
can be visible up to 1000m even in complete darkness! This
self-contained active system requires no external light source for
illumination, increasing safety in the most hazardous and remote
working environments.
The system has been an instant success, already in use by many
customers. One such company is Lafarge, one of Britain’s top five
construction companies. Steve Young, Health Safety & Environmental
Advisor at Lafarge explains, “…the greatest problem for construction
workers working in dark or dim conditions is lack of conspicuity. We
trialled many different options, and Pulsarneon® garments provided
the ideal solution. They are easy to wear, easy to operate, they are
robust enough to withstand the environment and are cost effective.
Ultimately they have improved the conspicuity and safety of the site
staff”. Lafarge have made the use of Pulsarneon® garments a site
requirement, for employees, sub contractors and suppliers.
The range covers all hi-visibility clothing requirements:
- Waterproof Storm Coats & Jackets
(Standard, 2 Tone & 3 Tone)
- Waterproof Bomber Jackets
- Lightweight Polyester Waistcoats
The Pulsarneon® range is available
alongside the comprehensive Praybourne Hi-visibility range through
Consumables Solutions, part of their complete solution covering all
PPE/Protective Clothing, Hygiene/Janitorial and Health & Safety
products.
Industrial
consumables have just got interesting. Well, they certainly
have for our customers. Our research shows an average time of 129
minutes* from the start of raising a purchase order to the end –
from order to invoice. An average total cost of £60**. With
an average of 1500 purchase orders per month, that adds up to a
yearly administration cost of £45,000, or a 25% additional
cost to the actual product cost.
But consumables
are low interest – except when you look at the costs. A diverse
product range, stocking products, managing health & safety requirements,
allocating spend. That’s why we provide the total solution
– that’s customised for every customer.
But there are
three things all of our customers have in common – significant
savings , maximum efficiency, minimum hassle. On average:
-
our Managed Solutions customers eliminate the need for purchasing
to raise an average 2,000 orders per year through using us
we also eliminate the need for the warehouse to receive, handle,
stock and deliver over 10,000 products per year
we even eliminate the need for finance to deal with hundreds of
invoices from dozens of suppliers
